A great plot is what makes a decent movie memorable. Surprising endings can be found in almost any genre: horror movies and dystopian thrillers are obvious examples, but romance movies and cosmic adventures can also benefit. Here’s a list of the most unexpected twists we’ve ever seen:

The twisted and inventive deaths of the first installment of this modern horror franchise have people captivated. Saw may have turned into an insane gorefest, but the first movie included a surprising twist that no one saw coming. Throughout the film’s mystery, Jigsaw, the cunning serial killer, lay in plain sight, posing as a dead man. Everyone was surprised when Jigsaw, aka John Kramer, stood up at the end of the movie. Every onlooker was puzzled when they realized that the attacker had been present at the crime site from the start. The finale has gone down in horror movie history as one of the most ingenious reveals.

This climax is now conventional knowledge in pop culture, but when M. Night Shyamalan’s The Sixth Sense was released in 1999, it utterly stunned moviegoers. For several weeks, the picture topped the box office, probably because everyone decided to come back and watch it again to locate any indications that Bruce Willis’ child psychologist Malcolm Crowe was one of the “dead people” according to his young patient Cole Sear. he can see and communicate with.

He embarks on this journey armed only with his long-term memory, papers, and a collection of tattoos on his body that remind him of events in his life and mission. The twist in the story brings the film full circle, and the film ends where it began, like an unforgettable thriller filled with twists and turns.

In this 2006 thriller, Christian Bale and Hugh Jackman play arguing magicians. Angier is engrossed in figuring out how Borden does his “transported man” trick. To figure it out, he builds his own version using a contraption built for him by scientist Nikola Tesla. This device duplicates Angier each time he enters it. By the time Angier figures out that the guy he knows as “Borden” is actually a set of identical twins who share a life, he’s drowned out an unknown number of replicas of himself.

David Fincher’s masterpiece, Se7en follows retired detective Somerset on his final mission, coupled with novice Mills on the hunt for a killer who uses the Seven Deadly Sins as blueprints for his murders. It’s a real David Fincher film, blending philosophy, murder, human nature and religious doctrine in a disturbing mix. As detectives race against time to uncover a ruthless psychopath bent on killing.
